K. Ramesh writes haiku, tanka and free verse. His poems have appeared in leading journals published in India and abroad. Some of his works have been included in the following anthologies:

From now onward
I will wait;

Not like a child
Waiting impatiently

For his father
Who brings gifts

But like the tall trees
In silence at night.

Like the sole tree
On the mountain

Waiting in the darkness
To face the sunrise.

Haiku

cloudy afternoon-
a chrysanthemum blooms
